Since these heritages are known for their faith, fun and food, the weekend of the 4th Sunday in March of 1980 the South Texas Polka and Sausage Fest was born and has today become one of the major annual events for the Knights of Columbus. It is held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Hallettsville, Texas and is a very popular event. It is a weekend filled with lots of food, fun and fellowship.
